For each data model we offer a Demo (free) edition and two license editions: Standard and Professional.

Demo (free)

The demo edition is free and allows you to:

√ Download and run the demo SQL scripts for creating 1 database schema for evaluation purpose.
√The database schema you create can be installed on 1 machine owned by you.
√The demo SQL scripts will create 50% of database schema objects.

Standard

Purchasing the Standard edition of a data model grants you a perpetual user license and entitles you to:

√Download and run the current, full version of SQL scripts for creating 100% of database schema objects. You can create any number of database schemas.
√The database schemas you create can be installed on 1 machine owned by you.
√Access the SQL scripts updates, new releases and beneficiate of priority customer support for a period of 1 month *.

* Should you wish to continue receiving SQL scripts updates, new releases and priority customer support you can optionally renew your maintenance subscription on a monthly basis.

Professional

Purchasing the Professional edition of a data model grants you a perpetual user license and entitles you to:

√Download and run the current, full version of SQL scripts for creating 100% of database schema objects. You can create any number of database schemas.
√The database schemas you create can be installed on any number of machines owned by you or owned by your customers, without any supplementary costs.
√Access the SQL scripts updates, new releases and beneficiate of priority customer support for a period of 1 month *.

* Should you wish to continue receiving SQL scripts updates, new releases and priority customer support you can optionally renew your maintenance subscription on a monthly basis.

License Agreement

Please read carefully the License Agreement before starting to use any of the Data Model Pack editions. The License Agreement is a legal agreement between You (an individual person or the company you represent) as the Licensee of the Software and Data Model Pack as the Owner and Licensor of the Software. The Software means the computer software, associated documentation and any materials made available by Data Model Pack.

Built to ensure data quality

Data Model Pack started from the wish to share the knowledge and the lessons learned from many database design projects. We focus on keeping the data models close to real-world business use cases and flexible enough to anticipate new business requirements. We follow the best practices in database design to ensure data quality and to enable easy customization for future applications.

Database design best practices

We are implementing the best practices in database design through well-thought constraints definitions: PK, FK, NOT NULL, etc. All these directly contribute to ensure the overall data quality for the new application that will use the database schema.

Flexible rules for database logic

We have built the data models starting from the idea to make the database schema flexible and customizable. As an example, whenever possible, we have created dimension tables that store what we call list of values: Sales_Channels, Delivery_Type, Discount_Type, Payment_Method etc.
